Burial ground of the World War II's soldiers at Chittagong War cemetery in Bangladesh


Chittagong War Cemetery is located at 19, Badsha mia road, Dampara, Chittagong.

Chittagong War Cemetery is a burial ground of the soldiers who died in the second World War in the eastern front.
This Cemetery was established to show the honor for the solders and others who died in the world war II. The Cemetery was created by the British Army.
The soldiers buried there were from United Kingdom 378, Canada 25, Australia 09, New Zealand 02, Undivided India 214, East Africa 11, West Africa 90, Myanmar 02, Japan 19, Netherlands 01, and Non soldiers 04. It's maintained by Commonwelth war graves commission.

It's a historical place. It's so beautiful place and honorable.
Every year from around the world many visitors come to the Cemetery to honor the killed soldiers.
