' Buddha Dhatu Jadi ' is the largest theravada Buddhist temple in Bangladesh and has the second largest Buddha statue in the country

The Buddha Dhatu Jadi is known as the Bandarban Golden Temple also Swrna Mandir

The Buddha Dhatu Jadi is known as the Bandarban Golden Temple. It's also known in local language Kyang.It's also locally known as Swrna Mandir. It's located near of Balaghata town in bandarban city.

The Golden Temple belong to thetheravada Buddhism order, Which is practiced by the marma indigenous people, a domianl ethnic group of Bandarban. Construction of the temple was started in 1995 and completed in 2000. So, it was built in 2000 in Arakanes architecture, and adoption of the south east Asia style.

The Buddhist temple is located in the remote Hill District in South-eastern Bangladesh parts of the Chittagong Division. The temple is built on top of  60 metres high hill. Which is about 4 kilometes from the Balaghata town in Bandarban city.

There has two of the highest peaks nearly. Those're the Tajingdong & the keokeradong. The Sangu river flows through the town. There is a waterful nearby and also a lake on the hill Known as the Debota Kum (pukur)

Really It's one excellent place to visit. You can visit the place by bus from Chittagong & Dhaka, many bus and kinds of vehicles are available there
